When creating the Orca, I used a wet on wet method. To do this, I got lots of black pigment on to my brush and pressed it down on the parts were the Orca is black. This create a jet black and I continue to add on more layers. The wet on wet made a smooth transition to the lighter part of the Orca to show where the light would hit the surface first.
I use a white fineliner to create scars on the Orca.
